I took this picture while in line at the Crown Point Jewel-Osco a half an hour ago. I had been thinking crabby thoughts about humanity just before I spotted this young man, who was bagging groceries, pull out his wallet to pay the remainder of a customer’s bill when she said she didn’t have enough. 10-year-old Poppy, from Australia, spent the summer travelling in a caravan with her family. When her parents decided to sell the van, Poppy left a message behind for the new owners. In the note, Poppy wrote how much she enjoyed staying in the van and wished the new family happy memories. + The Brisbane family who discovered the letter was touched and shared it on Facebook. When a student at Gillett Elementary, WI, lost her tooth on a school day, someone had to step up and do something about it.
