I have mixed feelings about that. I’ve heard of it before and thought it was cool. However, when you’re out and about and enjoying nature, such painted rocks kind of take you out. It takes away from the landscape. Well, at least that’s how I feel. So, I think it’s ok in an urban setting but in a forest not so much.
That’s awesome. I know of a school near me that has a student club where they paint kindness rocks and leave them around the school. And similarly, I found a tree in a park near my house where people hang Christmas ornaments to say thank you to health care and public safety workers.
I hope people don’t paint egg-shaped rocks around Easter time. I don’t think the Easter bunny would take kindly to possibly being blamed for eggs so hard-boiled, they can’t be cracked open. 😉

lol I started painting them in lockdown and gave my last lot to the manager of a child care centre to plant around her playground 🙂
