I reeeeally needed to see this today! Happy birthday, Christian đŸ„°đŸ„°đŸ„°#Repost @globalpositivenews ・・・ When Lindsay Larsen from Meridian, ID, was sending out invitations for her autistic son’s 9th birthday, she wasn’t expecting to receive only a single ‘yes’ in return. Disappointed, she wrote an emotional post about it on social media. + In response one of Lindsay’s friends shared the invitation with Nampa High School football coach Dan Holtr. + "[The team] was ready and willing to celebrate with Christian. Within seconds of a sent text they were 100 percent in. No hesitation whatsoever," Dan wrote in an email to CNN. + The football team showed up at Christian’s party, wearing their jerseys and chanting his name. Christian stood there in awe for a while, then gave them all high fives while jumping up and down. + "He talked about it for days. He has said multiple times that it was the best birthday ever," said Lindsay. – h/t: CNN Video: Lindsay Barrus Larsen / Facebook ‱‱‱ @globalpositivenews @globalpositivenews @globalpositivenews . . . #caring #heartwarming #positivepsychology #globalpositivenews #news #somegoodnews #tanksgoodnews #Positivenews #positivenergy #positivity #onemillionactsofgood #kindness #kindnessmatters #randomactsofkindness #actsofkindness #autismawareness #autismwarrior #autismacceptance #autismlove #birthdaypartyfun #birthdayparty🎉 #highschoolfootball #footballteam #birthdayday #birthdaycelebration #birthdayfun #birthdaysurprise
