Wordless Wednesday – allow your photo(s) to tell the story.
A little birdie told me you have books here. #Wordless Wednesday #I see a birdie book, but it’s about lovebirds.
Linda shared this post (and the following links!) and I thought it was perfect for WATWB. Little free library Instagram account. Well worth checking out to see pictures of the little free library’s around the world… You can find out more about Little Free Libraries here.
I love this because people are sharing what they love and spreading joy, light, and hope through their books…..
Which is what WATWB – we are the world blogfest – is about. Spreading light in a world where people spread so much darkness. There is all the light. Let’s spread it! Join WATWB here.
Happy Friday!
Love, light, and glitter

My husband is putting the finishing touches on a Little Library made to look like a lighthouse. It will double as library and geocache!!

Thanks for spreading the love around Eliza. I think the Instagram pictures of the finished Little Libraries are so creative. What a great idea and our libraries here in Michigan just opened back up after three months, but only on a telephone reservation basis for the book(s) and then you drive up and pick up your book(s). I think it is a wonderful idea and I hope it catches on in even more places.

Also, what exactly is WATWB, and if I fill out that list, where does my information go?

We are the world blogfest. Run by a couple wordpress bloggers who created the list for 2 reasons, one to be able to share reminders about posting and 2, so that anyone on the list could see the list. When I signed up I just put my blog address and my blog email. It’s now mainly on Facebook and being that I’m not on fb… you can join and post regardless. Or Google it a bit.

What a great picture, Eliza, illustrating an even greater concept!
It’s all about knowledge, hope, goodwill, trust and style, and about increasing the world’s supply of all five.

I’m so happy you posted this. On my most recent drive from the Northeast US to Florida I stopped in Savannah Georgia to visit the Bonaventure Cemetery. On the way I saw several of those little libraries. I had forgotten about those because I don’t think we have any near where I live. It has made me want to start some. I haven’t yet, but after posting this to you I will go back and check out the link. Thanks!

The blog is down at the moment. When I have the headspace I’m going to try get the backup, or post the reasons posts. I really want them up but don’t have the headspace and don’t have a copy of them all 😦

I’ve only heard about these libraries here on WP mainly by usa bloggers but yesterday I sighted my first one a few blocks away … might go back with my camera, I was so excited to finally spot one 🙂

easy to do, any kind of cabinet, dumped fridge, etc and any the books you’ve read … our op shops are now selling items well above ‘new’ prices, especially books!

I can’t do it whilst I’m living at home. But when I have my own place I’d love to… I would’ve done a DVD library too but with laptops now not having DVD places…

yes I have run into that problem … not sure devices are responding to our needs, more likely they are just chasing bucks for rapid replacement 😦
