  1. Brilliant, but I especially like, “I have an unopened pack of charmin and a multi pack of hand sanitizer. Will trade for a Gucci or Chanel bag.”

    1. That’s why I put it as the last one. Thought it a good reminder. We can learn from anything. Oh, I wrote such a post in my head on shabbat. You’re reminding me.
      How is it going?

      1. Oh god, if only it was only going to be a month of no school! I would 100% rather be self-isolating than doing it with a frustrated teen to entertain and reason with whilst trying to work full time at home – no fun and monopoly here 😬

        1. Definitely not fun for anyone…
I hope she can do some online learning- where I work they don’t use internet at all so they’re doing phone learning…

          Good luck with the balance.

      2. I’m doing alright. Just the usual self-isolation with everyone else, but not too worried since my country is well supplied with essentials. No more panic buying and people are really doing their best and stepping up!

Home front is even quieter than usual, which is GREAT because it’s a break from being attacked and criticised by my Dad. He’s elderly but isn’t self-isolating much. Good for me as being around him less means less abuse. ❀

  2. There are some good ones here. Thanks for posting. You’re absolutely right. If schools don’t reopen soon, parents will find a vaccine that cures COVID -19 before the scientists do!!

I’m glad not to be teaching at the moment. The fear of passing it on if I don’t know I have was too much

  3. I loved all of these quotes, Eliza, especially about our grandparents going to war. It is sad to see so many people flouting the self isolation as if only they matter. We are watching Star Wars for the 100th time… Big hugs to you and bravo on your uplifting post. K x

  4. Great collection, Eliza!

Each one made me smile, and happiness brightened as I went thorough the list. Just when I didn’t want it to end, I glanced at the scroll bar and realized I wasn’t even halfway through yet. What a splendid surprise.

It took a lot of work to assemble all of these, and your readers obviously are grateful for the effort. Thanks, Eliza – we needed that!

        For now I am fine.
Trying to really wrap my mind around what is going on.
I am still getting my work done yes.
I could always use more hugs. Even in this new world of social distancing.
        Thank you sincerely for asking.

I’m enjoying the time to spend with family and not working. Working with fear of infecting others was horrendous so I’m glad for the lockdown. And the time. It’s only this week so far but I’m not worried.

          1. Hahaha. Thank you. I needed that.
Appreciate that time. And stay safe please.
That too is my concern. Not getting it but having it and not knowing thus spreading it. I have accepted that it is quite likely to happen. I become exasperated at the company I work for and so many here in the states treating this as if it is not happening , will be gone soon or panicking. Unfortunately I feel things here are going to get worse before they get better and it hasn’t yet begun.

I like lockdown because my main fear is the vulnerable people who I live with.

              1. Sadly this country is behind. And there are those who follow our president blindly and believe all he says( some of my family) he wants things up and back to normal by April. That’s not happening. But people still continue to act as if it’s not happening and then follow his word on an unproven β€œcure” for this and people take it, now people are dying from that.
You’re right thank you for that.
Yet, as it stands what I do is what this government considers essential and I have to be out and around people fixing machines. I just don’t want someone to get this because of me. We need a lockdown.
How is this for you and your family?

                  1. Thank you. I truly appreciate that. Praying makes a difference. I am not religious but I know the power of it. We as people are more special than what we realize. I am only finding this out through experience. So pray but with love. I have said and will continue to say it plays an essential role for us as people we just don’t know or understand how it really benefits us.

                    1. Actually the past few days, especially with yesterday, have shown me a lot about a source of the world. They say difficult help you, and it is true. I’m seeing a source, the consciousness, and reading posts that bring me to elucidate my thoughts and beliefs in response.
Prayer helps because the world has a source/energy/consciousness. Praying is turning into that consciousness and asking it to give you – and you’re a part of this energy with your own consciousness- what you need.
That’s how I see it. And why opening yourself to what the universe sends to you is a good idea.

It’s why I want to ask my gp if I speak to him anytime what he wanted to offer me re therapy. Even though I decided because of a therapist not to go ahead with therapy that it’d do more harm than help if the universe sends me something I want to follow it. And opening yourself to something can help.
It’s also like when you just learned something or when you want thoughts on a topic suddenly you see it everywhere. Not just that you’re more aware of it. The universe, you’re a part of that energy, brings you what you attract.

If you thought you were rambling before…..

I hope the vaccine comes out soon for world safety. Then I can stop panicking that I’ll get it and pass it on to the vulnerable.

  6. Thanks for discussing your ideas. I’d personally also like to say that video games have been ever evolving. Today’s technology and inventions have made it easier to create reasonable and active games. These kinds of entertainment video games were not actually sensible when the concept was being tried out. Just like other areas of technological know-how, video games also have had to progress by means of many decades. This is testimony for the fast progression of video games.
