These are so gorgeous … I didn’t think ducks could be so photogenic. I could totally see a gorgeous oil painting being made from any of those pictures! (also … there are swans in there too?? how lovely!)

My parents and I lived in Toronto in an apartment until I turned two and we moved to the suburbs. There was a huge park with swans, geese and ducks … it was called High Park and we used to go there every Sunday and same thing for me … taking some bread to throw out to the swans. When we moved and came back to Toronto to visit my grandmother, we continued going there – loved it, so peaceful and all kids would be there feeding those beautiful birds.
I love seeing the birds like this. It’s funny how they seem to squabble for the food and still live alongside each other.

It was gorgeous. The kids were all trying to throw bread and watch them be caught in their mouths.

Very idyllic looking scene you have captured for us Ellie – I’d want to just stroll by and take it all in.
