I wonder what happens if I stop trying.

Love, light and glitter
Edit: Do you flip between modes? If so, what is it like for you? (I mean like now, I’m giving an example in case you aren’t sure what I mean, I really wanted to use, wrote about it a lot, just so badly wanting to mess up. To the as of this moment complete okayness -a mixture of cutting off, it’s not the tuning out for wasn’t tuned in, and just not needing to use at all and happy to live life).
I have tried and am tired, too, Eliza. After the weekend I am going to start taking Duloxetine as my psychiatrist suggested. He pointedly remarked at our last appointment that my depression/anxiety was biological, so really only medication will help.

Good for you! I hope it is really helpful……
I once got my dr to refer me to a psych and the psych wasn’t at all helpful, basically didn’t think medication would help or he would help (asides that he was a waste of time and money, though I’m sure most aren’t).

It took me many years to find the right doctor/treatment. Good luck to you, Eliza. ❤️

The “I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired” has always been an important reminder for me.

Sometimes just the tedium of our every day life is enough to put you in a funk.
